The New Lie

That “America First” Means Abandoning Israel

In some circles today, a new and dangerous lie is gaining traction: that “America First” and supporting Israel are somehow in tension. That standing with Israel weakens America. That confronting radical Islamist threats abroad is optional or even reckless spending for the U.S. to support Israel militarily.

This framing is false. And history, Scripture, and reality all tell us why.

If you love America, you can say “America First” with a clear conscience.

But you cannot use “America First” as a cover to abandon Israel or leave the Jewish people standing alone.

We have seen this before. Between World War I and World War II, America leaned into isolationism. “Stay out” sounded wise. Neutral sounded safe. But evil does not stop because decent people step back. It grows. It tests the weak places. And the Jewish people are always the first target.

Now we are hearing the same hatred dressed up in modern language, shouted in streets and across screens:

“Globalize the Intifada.”

Let’s be honest about what that means in real life. It is a call to spread the war against Israel everywhere—into schools, cities, and public life. It is permission-giving language for intimidation and violence against Jews.

And do not miss this: when Jew hatred is unleashed, it never stays neatly contained. It spreads. It hunts for the next target. The same radical Islamist ideology that wants Israel erased also despises Christianity.

America has been strongest when we understood who we are: a nation shaped by Judeo-Christian truth, grounded in Scripture, and tied to the Biblical homeland promised to Abraham.

President Harry Truman understood what leadership looks like when the world is watching. In 1948, he recognized Israel when it would have been easier to hesitate. He later said:

“I had faith in Israel before it was established, I have faith in it now. I believe it has a glorious future before it—not just another sovereign nation, but as an embodiment of the great ideals of our civilization.”

Here’s what YOU can do right now—one simple step that puts you on the side of courage:

Make a tax-deductible donation to Christian Women For Israel

When you give today, you are saying:

  • I will not stay silent in the face of antisemitism.
  • I will help strengthen Christian women to pray, speak up, and stand firm—even when it is uncomfortable.
  • I will stand with Israel and the Jewish people as the Biblical homeland promised to Abraham.

Your gift equips Christian women with Scripture-rooted clarity and courage—and it tells Israel: you are not forgotten, and you are not alone as calls to “globalize the intifada” spread.

At Christian Women For Israel, we are building an educated army of modern-day Esthers—women grounded in Scripture, armed with truth, and ready to speak with clarity.

Women who will push back the slogans. Women who will teach their children and grandchildren. Women who will refuse to normalize “Globalize the Intifada” and will fight to stop its spread with prayer, truth, and courage.

Your tax-deductible gift of $50, $100, $200, or any amount helps equip Christian women to pray, advocate, and provide support to Israel and the Jewish people.
