The world was horrified to learn that Hamas continues to hold Alexander "Sasha" Trupanov in captivity, claiming he is “not in good enough condition to be released.” After 491 days of brutal captivity, starvation, and abuse, the 29-year-old remains in Gaza, while those recently freed show severe signs of malnutrition and internal health complications. With 76 hostages still believed to be alive in Hamas’s grip, their conditions may be even worse.
