Your Kitchen Table Can Bless Israel

When we think of modern-day Esthers, it is easy to picture microphones, cameras, and big stages. But Esther’s story actually began quietly—through conversations, fasting, and courageous decisions made in hidden places.

The same is true for you. Here are three simple ways your kitchen table can become a watchtower of blessing for Israel:

  1. Talk about Israel with your family.
Share a short story about God’s promises to Israel or a recent story of courage. Ask, “How can we pray for Israel tonight?”
  2. Open your Bible together.
Read a passage like Genesis 12:3 or Psalm 121 and remind each other that God has not forgotten His people or His land.
  3. Choose one small action.
Write a note of encouragement, share a truth-telling article, or support a ministry that blesses Israel in Jesus’ Name.

Recently, while we were driving and listening to a devotional about King David, I heard this line: “When David could no longer fight like he once did, God gave him a new calling. His sword grew weak, but his light grew stronger.”

That picture has stayed with me. It reminds me that your influence does not fade with age, that Israel still needs your faith, and that God uses every season—every kitchen table, every quiet prayer—to shine His glory through you.

Whether you are in a season of active “battle” or quiet intercession, you are not alone. God is raising up Esthers in public life and in hidden places, and your prayers are part of that story.

An Apron for “Such a Time as This”

That is why I love this simple, beautiful apron. It hangs right where so much of life happens—in the kitchen—quietly reminding you that God has placed you here, now, for such a time as this.

Imagine tying this on as you prepare a meal, pray over your children and grandchildren, or intercede for Israel. It is a small, daily reminder that your ordinary faithfulness matters—and that God is still writing His story through women who love Him and love His people.

And when you choose this apron, you are not just blessing your own home. You are also part of blessing the people of Israel through Christian Women For Israel’s outreach and compassion projects.
