In a video shared online, Code Pink supporters were seen storming a Trader Joe’s store, dramatically pulling Israeli products from the shelves and labeling sections as “the apartheid aisle” or “genocide aisle.” One protester went as far as to say that looking at an Israeli product made her think, “I can see children being killed.”
Amid these demonstrations, Trader Joe’s employees clarified that store managers do not have control over what products are stocked, emphasizing that these decisions are made at a corporate level.
