A new survey shows that most Jews are thinking a lot about anti-Semitism but not experiencing or changing their habits because of it. And they tend to view the problem through a partisan lens.
Presented in cooperation with Christian Friends of Yad Vashem, the program began with a live shot from the “Harp Bridge” at the entrance to Jerusalem as the nationwide siren sounded, bringing traffic to a stop.
“Rabbi Cohn’s life story is a stark and vivid reminder that not only must we never forget the Holocaust, but we must also learn the lessons from this horrific and evil period to ensure such persecution never happens again,” said Rep. Max Rose (D-N.Y.).
“Hezbollah’s goal is the destruction of Israel and the Jews, and we should not be offering a safe haven for them to hide in Germany and finance their armed struggle in Lebanon against Israel from our territory,” senior AfD MP Beatrix von Storch, said in a statement.
Organizers at the Illinois Holocaust Museum chose International Holocaust Remembrance Day on Jan. 27 for the official rollout of their new cutting-edge virtual-reality Holocaust experience, titled “The Journey Back.”
“The lack of boundaries, combined with the growing success of this platform, makes it an ideal virtual home for hate speech and extremist content,” it concluded.
“No human can be truly respected without caring for their basic needs, the most elementary of which is food,” said Israeli President Isaac Herzog, who launched the initiative in 2017.
