It’s Not Just the Jews They Hate

Hatred has no boundaries. Its roots are deep, spreading through society like a cancer, seeking to destroy anything in its path. It’s not just the Jews they hate—it’s anyone who dares to stand for faith, truth, or righteousness. As Alan Dershowitz observed, "Never has there been such hatred in America as there is today." Recent events and the vitriol we see on our own social media ads remind us that this hatred is real, pervasive, and cannot be reasoned with.

We’ve seen the face of hatred in the responses to our ads calling for support in bringing Israeli hostages home. Some comments are so vile, they bear repeating to understand the depths of this animosity:

"Stand with the Jews as they exterminate Palestinians, murder Lebanese and Syrian women, children, and old men! Be a good Christian—Jesus will bless you for giving money to the Zionist murderers."

Hatred, as Bill Donohue recently wrote in his article for Newsmax, thrives on both violent and non-violent expressions. From assaults on innocent lives in New Orleans and New York to venomous words sent to the Catholic League about their Christmas billboard, we see the same spirit of enmity in every corner. Donohue notes emails that include lines such as:

When was your mythical savior born? Certainly not in December.

Good day to you, have a happy solstice, and hail Satan!

I hope you find some peace in the coming year before you meet the devil in hell.

We are celebrating Solstice before your God started leering at thirteen year olds.

Such hatred is not limited to one religion or group—it targets Jews, Christians, and anyone standing for faith and moral clarity. Whether it’s the demonization of Israel on campuses, attacks on Christian traditions, or comments dismissing the plight of Israeli hostages, it all stems from the same festering hatred that demands to be confronted.

As Donohue rightly points out, “Evil must be confronted and defeated.” We cannot let the noise of hatred intimidate or silence us. Instead, we must stand firm, united in truth and unwavering in our support for faith, Israel, and the values that make us who we are.

This isn’t just about Israel or Jews. It’s about all people of faith who believe in justice, righteousness, and the sanctity of life. Let us not be discouraged by the voices of hate but emboldened to act—to pray, advocate, and shine light in the darkness.

For more on the growing hostility and the need to confront it, read Bill Donohue’s article, "You Can't Reason With Hatred, But It Can Be Fought."

Together, we can stand against hatred and be a force for good in this world. Let’s not allow their words to weaken our resolve—because we know that love, light, and faith will ultimately prevail.

And as you join us in praising the Living God for the miracle of the modern-day state of Israel, we pray you’ll renew your own resolve to bless Israel and the Jewish people by giving a generous gift of support.

May God bless you for being a blessing to Israel and the Jewish people

Yes, I want to Bless the Jewish People in Israel!
